An electrostatic precipitator is specified and designed to certain dust limits during its design. Since changed environmental requirements at a later point in time will set lower limit values, the improvement of dust separation is always an issue.

In many cases, the use of state-of-the-art control technology achieves a considerable improvement in the clean gas values.

In other cases, high-voltage sources are exchanged for technologically more sophisticated systems, e.g. from single-phase systems to three-phase systems.

In this way, you save high conversion costs that would arise if the geometry and mechanics were changed, and have adapted the filter to the latest legal requirements at low cost.
