  • R2D - rotary piston blower for long run times in constant operation, designed for maximum dependability
  • The pressure increase of air and neutral gases can be up to 1000 mbar or -500 mbar negative pressure at volume streams of 20 to 8000 m³/h. The compression process works without oil and low pulse rates.
  • The 3-wing rotors and their shafts are single piece die-forged. They help reduce the pulsation frequency and noise levels.
  • Generously designed fins in the housing ensure excellent heat dissipation. The materials used for the R2D rotary piston blowers are particularly noteworthy: the housings, side panels and covers are made from modular graphite casting GGG40. The rotors of the smaller blower types through RD 60 T are made of quenched and tempered steel 1 C 45 N and boast a tensile strength of 700 N/mm2. For our larger rotors through blower type R 110 T we use GGG50. The angular toothed synchronization wheels are made of high-tensile case-hardened still. They are hardened and ground.
  • The housings boast a pressure impact tensile strength of PN13 bar.
  • The blowers are dynamically balanced and tested at each individual assembly station. The results are documented.

  • The choice of bearings is particularly important for the longevity and dependability of the rotary piston blowers.
  • We use premium brand bearings to match the blower size, requirements and RPM capacity. The standard bearings we choose have to meet is 60,000 operating hours at normal loads pursuant to ISO 281.
  • The blowers are driven by electrical motors and belt drives with automated belt tensioning.
  • Model R2D 50 T and up have blowers equipped with pneumatic/mechanical start-up load relief as a standard feature. Upon request, we can also equip smaller blowers with start-up load relief devices.
  • The blowers are installed on elastic elements; therefore they do not require a foundation.
  • To start up the blower aggregate, the following is required at the installation side: set-up, connection to pipes, oil fill-up and electrical connection.
  • We also offer sound insulation hoods for interior and exterior installation.
  • The sound insulation hoods feature segmented design, interior insulation material covers and exterior powder coating in RAL 5017.
  • Each sound insulation hood has an electrical fan; reading of the instrument values from the exterior is possible.
